I’m a 3rd year PhD student in the Levine lab at UConn Health and a member of Beyond the PhD. My lab is looking for a post doc with prior experience in electrophysiology. Our research focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanics involved in synaptic plasticity using rodent brain slices and human stem cell derived neurons. Director of Health Sciences Program – Anna Maria College
This full-time position combines administrative duties with some teaching responsibilities in the sciences. The program director has responsibility for administrative oversight of the Health Science Program (Major, Minor, Pre-Pharmacy track, and transfer pathway to the Nursing Major), the Minor in Public Health, the Major in Forensic Science, and varied opportunities for students in self-designed majors (e.g., Exercise Science). Smooth operation of these programs involves supporting strategies and activities that that promote student progress toward degree; recruiting, mentoring and assigning instructional duties to faculty; designing and fostering effective internal and external communications for the programs; and participation in major events in the academic life of the college. In addition, this position includes a limited instructional load each semester.
The Program Director reports to the AVPAA in the School of Professional Studies. The Director promotes the mission of Anna Maria College and maintains a collegial and highly collaborative working system within the college, focused on student learning and continuous improvement in curriculum, assessment, and student opportunities.

Assistant Professor- Natural Science Faculty – Anna Maria College
The full-time faculty member in the Health Science program reports to the Director of the Health Science Program and is versatile enough to manage varied teaching assignments in chemistry and related biological sciences. The faculty member ensures course outcomes are met through teaching and learning experiences in classes and labs. The faculty member is also required to participate in the mission and governance of Anna Maria College. Within the Health Science Program, the faculty member is expected to contribute to a collegial and highly collaborative working system, focused on student learning and on-going curriculum development and assessment. In addition to teaching, the individual has the responsibility to carry out a scholarly agenda and to be of service to the College and the wider community.
